CYCLE ELECTRIC INC. REGULATOR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR CE-101 & CE-102 MODELS

 

1.     Mount regulator (preferably up front). Case must have good electrical connection to ground (motorcycle frame).

2.     Route wires and cut length

Brown to “A” terminal on generator

Green to “F” terminal on generator

Red to battery or lights

Use solderless crimp terminals to ensure good connections. Use proper crimp tool. BAD CONNECTION TO A TERMINAL WILL CAUSE REGULATOR FAILURE-NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.

3.     Polarize generator with regulator properly installed. Use a jumper lead             from the battery positive terminal to the generator “A” terminal for 2- 3 seconds. Battery negative terminal must be connected to ground.
